When I hear the word “more” my mind recalls a Vineyard song entitled “MORE”. I am inspired by writers who can take words and put them in an order that touches my emotions and captures my imagination. Some lines from the song MORE that did exactly that are: “More than magnet and steel are drawn to unite More than poets love words to rhyme as they write… More than an eloquent word depends on the tongue More than a passionate song needs to be sung… More than the pounding waves long for the shore More than these gifts You give, I love You more.” Each of these lines paint a very graphic picture that can distill down into the human heart and spirit for those who are reaching and longing for the shore of the Fathers love and touch. We long for that coming together, to unite to be one with Him. There is that within the heart of the redeemed individual that wants to see His purpose through His eyes and see that purpose fulfilled in us daily. It is not just an empty promise. It will come to pass! As the Holy Spirit works within us releasing us to carry His fullness into our sphere of influence, we will know oneness and intimacy. It is His heart to do so and from His great heart there is always MORE coming to pass. I thank you Father for your MORE that manifests in so many ways in all of our lives.
