Four years will pass before we reach earth’s nearest star. While in our galaxy (The Milky Way) we, arrive at a new star every 5 years. In the Milky Way there are at least 100 billion stars; it is going to be a long journey. If we travel directly across our galaxy in a straight line from earth, at 660 million miles per hour (roughly) it will require 80,000 years of continuous travel.
Once out of our galaxy it requires 2 million years just, to reach our nearest neighboring galaxy, Andromeda. We will arrive at Hercules (10,000 galaxies) after traveling 300 million years.
As immense as the universe is, GOD spoke it all into existence with His word.
There is no difference between His word that formed the worlds and the word bound in leather. Both are equally powerful, creative and transforming. It is no wonder, that this wonderful communication written by the Holy Spirit through men; is so important to the transformation/transfiguration of human kind. When He says you are a new creature—that is what you are. When He says you can do all things through Christ—that is true now. When He says you have I quickened—that is ongoing now. When He says I have raised you to sit in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus—that is true now. If we take those four statements just as He said them; there is a new you emerging in the inner man by the power of the Spirit. There is an ongoing deposit of ability and power by the Spirit. When He says you have I quickened—you have I made alive with divine life, regenerated now. When He says you have I raised up together in the Heavenlies—that is raised together with Him (Jesus) that is the present moral resurrection, and made us sharers with Him—that is going to bring change to our lives and our thoughts. He is the head and we are the body; FRUITFULNESS FLOWS FROM THIS POSITION.
